Archive 1 March 05 The site is beginning a major reconstruction! Bear with us while we convert everything. Thanks very much to FranzRogar and James K for the design the new site will be based on. Let us know what you think at the FORUM! 25 February 05 We've begun a new game engine design, using a platform independent development environment. We have some study involved, testing if the program we're using will suit our needs. If so, Mac and Linux users will be able to play the game, which is a big plus. We'll keep you posted!. 10 February 05 Modified the site logo. We're preparing for some hardcore advertising, and the logo just wouldn't be the same without the official title. We're also developing some banner ads, which you can see at the new Link To Us page(Still Under Construction). Take a look! 9 February 05 Bones has done it again! He has recreated the lampposts from the foyer! They look great as well! Check them out on the Download Page! 6 February 05 Bones has submitted a 3d rendered version of the clock from the main foyer. It looks incredible! Check it out on the Download Page! 30 January 05 Slider Puzzle is now complete! Thanks to Bones for the music track included, FranzRogar for the images, TinklePit for the puzzle suggestion, RHK for programming! Check it out on the Download Page! 28 January 05 New music! Bones has created a new song for the game. FranzRogar has created new graphics for the Slider Puzzle. Check them out on the Download Page! 25 January 05 The forum has now been split into a public and a game developers section. For the time being, the public section is rather bare, but all are welcome to post there. We are still looking for new team members; visit the forum to join. 22 January 05 Second team conference call was held today. We're continuing to develop the plot, which will be able to be played as Tad from the original game, or as his doctor.
15 January 05 I spoke with David from StuffWeLike.com. Definitely a site worth checking out. Take a look at their indie films, read their gaming reviews, etc. Hopefully we'll be collaborating with them on the filming of T7G3. 15 January 05 Released new puzzle demo; a standard slider style puzzle that is often seen in adventure games. Posted in the Download Page! 14 January 05 6 month anniversary of The 7th Guest III project! It's been a slow start, but we're steadily gaining support, increasing members, and continually making progress. Here's to future success! 8 January 05 Member TinklePit has been assigned to write the new script. With his vast knowledge of adventure games, TP should be able to give us an excellent script. Member Bones is hard at work on 3d modeling the mansion and other environments in the game. Bones' past work is excellent, and he should be able to make an amazing setting for the game. 30 December 04 Good news: we've received word from Rob Landeros, cocreator of the original games and owner of the 7th Guest copyrights. He has ok'd our game as long as we're solely nonprofit. Take a look at the about page for more details. Also, here is a link to Landeros' current company, Aftermath Media. 21 December 04 1st attempt at artificial intelligence is a success! There's still a few bugs to work out, but you'll be playing vs. Stauf soon! 3 December 04 New draft version 2.0 added to the Plot page. 23 October 04 The draft is coming along well; we've posted plot version 2.0 to the Plot page. 14 October 04 1000 Hits to the site!!!
